Benecke is one of The Netherlands’ leading providers of continuing medical education for health care professionals.
Every year we develop and organise a multitude of post academic (year)symposia, reviews and TeleReviews®, workshops, competence training and individual courses. Benecke was the first to introduce individual medical education in the Dutch health care system. In the past, these courses were correspondence courses. Today, these courses are largely offered online and Benecke has become an expert in the field of e-learning.
Within the last few years, the ‘continuum concept’ has captured a prominent place within the Benecke portfolio. Using the concept as a base, has since led to the deployment of several very successful national post academic educational platforms that offer medical specialists a comprehensive range of courses on a yearly basis.
Strong network
For the development of our portfolio we collaborate closely with an international network of medical professionals who have a strong affinity with medical education. The development of the content for our projects is led by state of the art medical-scientific knowledge which has been translated into guidelines and “clinical competencies”. Relevance to daily clinical practice is always central to the project. Accreditation of educational projects is a must.
